A Look Ahead
Well, I am almost to the 20lb mark for weight loss. I think this is the point for a little reflection. I am satisfied with the amazing results the atkins diet has provided me with, enabling me to lose more weight than I had ever before, if ever I had tried. It definitely works, and it will still continue to work, as its principles are simple and self-explanatory. I have calculated my ideal weight for my height and frame type to be my ideal of 165 pounds. It definitely can and will be done, and in a matter of time. My short-range goal, however, is to hit the 200 mark. The day I reach 200 is the day I will be overjoyed at the level of results I have gotten. Hopefully for me, that first goal day is not too far off. After that, I will shoot for increments of 10, and use those to work off of. I am going to stay on the Atkins diet until New Year's Day, when I should have reached my goal and fulfilled my sacred resolution that I have made more than once without a shred of proactivity. That will truly be an awesome day. Until then, it will be one day at a time. All I can do is exercise and eat the Atkins way, get plenty of rest and look forward to that day. With a balanced diet, I should be able to keep the weight off. I know that, when I treied a calorie-counting thing back in january, I started out at 239 pounds. Six months later, I was at ~240 pounds, So I will be able to keep it in range. I have calculated some tangible results:
Ideals:
Weight: 165
Waist size: 35-36
Stomach: 36-37
Until these goals are reached, I will keep the will to continue to reach for the stars.
